Have been there a few times and their pizza is authentic Italian pizza and delicious! They use fresh ingredients and the crust is perfect. Try to make a reservation before you go because the place is always crowded. Also, if you have a larger party, ask for a table downstairs because the atmosphere is cozier!

First time to Luzzo's and had a great meal. We had the Misto appetizer. The beef carpaccio was very tasty. They do a great job on the pizza. Ordered the Calzone pizza and even though it had a lot of toppings it was nice and crisp, with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. You just can't copy that nice coal charring on the crust any other way.

We have been here many times and they have been fabulous every time. The Campana pizza is fabulous. I consider it the top pizza in the city.

Absolutely delicious coal oven pizza. A perfect consistency to the crust, fantastic sauce, magnificent bufala mozzarella. Totally one of the best pizzas in NY.. The price is high but it's taste is luscious. Only problem is that the 16" pizza that we had gets cold quickly.. And it's still great luke warm. Service is great and atmosphere is as well. Nice wines, friendly owner.. I keep trying more & more pizza places and Luzzo's can't be beat.
