Delightful and different. Scandinavian comfort food for grown-ups, especially the magnificent Danish meatballs. Nothing too challenging, but nothing poorly or sloppily done; a lot of attention is visible in every dish. Freshness and simplicity trump fussiness and over-indulgence; even the lovely puddings have a serene and sensible air to them. You wish you had this place in your neighbourhood.
Can't top this! Now, I don't want to sound bias, but this is the créme de la créme. The lush chairs, round ice, and flashy tunes playing from the sterio had me gushing about my experience later that night. If you could serve me up one plate of food before I died, make it from Madsen.
Very healthy and tasty dining.
Hidden gem. Relaxed, real - reflects best of Scandinavia.
Nothing special. Lundums was the place but it closed.
