Amazing fresh seafood, generous helpings, for very little moolah -- except you may be surprised by the preparation. I think of garlic, butter, and lemon when someone says "scampi." Mambo thinks flavorless pool of strangely-orange oil.
The appeal here is the value for the money. You get a lot of seafood for a good price, though the place is always packed and service can be slow at the busy lunch hour.
