My boyfriend and I visited Montauk to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. We decided to eat here after all the good reviews we read online. The food was amazing. Food was good and they served big positions. The decor was okay I've been to better decorated restaurants. But what made this place the damper on our anniversary weekend and was pretty funny to us was how crappy the service was. Lets start with the amount of stares we received from the customers and the staff. I guess that's what happens when "color folk" come to Montauk. So after being seated it takes forever for a server to come to us. But all the tables around us are fine. Guest who came in after us were eating before us. The manager even checked on the tables around us but never even looked our way. Our waitress was somewhat ok but not attentive much. We got our food had a few bites and asked for it to be packed up. We had to wait to pay the bill, so we walked to the bar to pay it even though the manager passed us right by again. The gentleman and the couple sitting at the bar were friendly. We just laughed and joked how ignorant people can be. When we visit again we probably will just ask for our food to go.
