very comfortable: decor, food, and service
very comfortable: decor, food, and service
I have eated here about four times during my visits to Boston and I just keep coming back. I think the food is wonderful, the wine list perfect, the service unassuming but there when needed, and for us this is a taste of Italy. I also love the location on the second floor, maybe because I usually get a window seat and peer down on all the activity in the North End. A must go to restaurant for a real taste of Italy.
Pasta is outstanding and worth sharing so you can try the variety. The stuffed zuchiini blossoms were fantastic as were the Ricotta fritters.
Not your run of the mill Italian restaurant. There is a banquet of choices and tastes. Superb meals, and sister restaurant to Pigalle, with Marc Orfaly's cooking and menus.
