Our second visit, and it was very good, as was our first (last year). An Italian seafood restaurant, so the new raw bar is a great addition. The "Shellfish Tower" was excellent. Main courses were also very good, especially the Zuppa di Mare. They were not overly knowledgeable about the wines, but it all worked out. The room is nice - more modern than old-world Italian that one may find in the North End. We'll be back.
Very fresh seafood with above average service. Lovely raw bar with stellar crab/oysters.
Ample portions with freshness shining through. Would certainly return, though cramped quarters require that you make friends with patrons dining elbow-elbow.
Inviting spot that hallmarks fresh shellfish raw and cooked. Had delicious clams on the half shell then a spectacular mushroom shellfish risotto. Couldn't be better! Down to the last bite, redolent with fancy mushrooms and lots of shellfish
On Saturday night we waited for 40 minutes for our table - there was no offer for a complimentary drink. The restaurant is small and very crowded and loud. Our waiter was not attentive - he brought out dishes at varying times and my brother-in-law did not accept his main course when everyone else had finished eating. Other than the very nice hostess, there did not seem to be anyone watching over the entire operation. Food was very good.
Tiny corner place in little Italy with very good seafood. Small but tight wine list. Hot lobster roll with fries was very good. Risotto seafood was good but not great. Grilled seafood platter which was big enough to share saved the day. Seats and table are really too close for comfort.
