Cool and funky decor, if a bit bustling. Service was impeccable, even a little over eager at times, but food was served perfectly paced and attentively. I had the rice cracker crusted tuna appetizer and lamb chop entree, both first rate. My companions had several of the fish dishes and all raved. Wines by the glass and "carafe" (8 oz) were nicer than many restaurants at this moderate price point. Definitely will return to try the tasting menu

Very disappointing experience. Took 20 minutes for anyone to offer us a drink. Downhill from there. Waiter brought an incorrect entree. The diner graciously offered to keep it so they wouldn't have to prepare another (and so she wouldn't have to wait for food while everyone else ate). No one apologized further, no offer was made to adjust the bill. Food was okay but not worthy of the prices. Menu isn't terribly interesting. Noisy.

Excellent food and service. We tried the sashimi appetizer and the butternut squash soup. Main dishes were short ribs, salmon and cod. Chocolate cake, terra cotta, cheesecake with cumquat jelly and peanut popcorn sundae. All worth trying. Mint tea was brewed with lots of fresh mint. Excellent meal would go again when in Boston.

We had a 7:45 reservation and arrived at 7:40pm. One hostess told us we would be seated immediately and the next hostess advised us to go to the bar because we were early. 40 minutes later we checked on our table and they had given it away. We finally were seated and given lots of extra food to make up for the snafu which we did not want. Food good but service recovery bad. Will not go back.

We go to restaurants frequently with my in-laws. We were unanimous in our opinions that this was the best one, from wine to dessert The only drawback is the noise- level, which is probably caused by the outside glass windows. The overall amibance was excellent
