We have not been to Marley's in over a year. Our two experiences there were so awful that just the name Marley's has become a laughingstock in our home. On our first visit, we kept it simple, burgers and wine. It took so long to arrive, that by the time it got to us, we were no longer hungry. (Waitstaff clueless during the entire ordeal).
On our second visit, the food just never arrived. We left, never to return.
Great place to eat. Friendly staff. Chef comes out and talks to customers.
This is an update: 12/18/2011: We are back in town for the holidays. Went here for lunch...still a great place to eat. We're having dinner with friends in a few days and have already made reservations. Food is great and menu has something for everyone. We'll be back again when we're in town in a few months.
This place is great. The food tastes really good and served hot. I especially liked the chicken and lettuce roll, and the flatbread chicken sandwich.
Kudos!
Update - I won't go this place again for sure. The last time when I went there, I was shocked to see 'ham' in the fish burger that I ordered when I politely requested to avoid all meat excepting the fish. They took it back, just tried to 'scrape' off, and re-presented the same. Cheaters.
Locals find themselves here for the convenient location, family-friendly atmosphere, and a menu that has something for everyone. It is nice without being fussy. Special note for parents: checkout the kids movie night on Sundays at 6pm, where kids of all ages are invited to a private room for a full dinner, popcorn and dessert along with a movie for $10. Parents are welcome to have dinner in the main dining room.
A great family spot.
