I started with the escargot with garlic, shallots, butter, parsley, cognac, parmesan, and toasted bread served in a Staub escargot dish that was gorgeous and super functional. This was the highlight of the meal (other than the delicious cocktails of course!) but I continued with the chicken and ended with the cheese assortment. I went for Restaurant week.
Food was not worth it. Escargot is the only good thing here. I ordered the Gravy based on some review and gnocchi were overcooked. Sauce was ok. Risotto was not really that special. Two in a boat was not good at all. The hamburguer was decent. Mussels were just ok.
Service was kind but very slow. Took us 2 hours to go through lunch.
I won't come back.
Carpaccio: One of the best I've ever had, it was done with great finesse.
Escargot: Heavenly. Not too slimy and breads were perfectly toasted!
Scampi: Flavor explosion. Shrimps were cooked nicely and tomato broth had the right consistency. Could have been better if the pasta was not overcooked.
Risotto: Simplicity at its best. Mushrooms, reggiano, truffle butter - need I say more?
Chocolate Cake & Ice Cream: Always a classic.
A Hidden Gem!
Excellent meal from soft bread and oil to delicious veal main with truffle fries. Yum
