One of those unfortunate experiences. First, a 30 minute wait past the reserved time; no apologies and the attitude was that they were doing us a favor. The noise level was extreme. The walls & ceiling are hard surfaces; one loud diner makes conversation impossible. Acoustic treatment would fix this. Food ok, but nothing special -- good, but not great, flavors on specials, bland red sauce on pasta, etc. A little work and it could be very good.
Worst Italian food ever. Bracciole consisted of reheated fried rice with a Marinara sauce that made my head spin it was so bad. it was on "special" $24! Wow. My wifes seafood pasta dish was equally as tasteless, also on specia for $28. The appetizer calamari had the same bad marinara sauce for $15. The menu on the outside lists prices which don't match the menu on the inside. A very forgetable late lunch experience in Boston. Never again!.
Real deal Italian on the edge of the North End, close to the Garden and fan-friendly. Primo bracciole! Real Sunday gravy kind of place with very complete menu for a small place with excellent and friendly service. Great for lunch as well.
The Italian food is very good here. One of the classic places to eat in the North End.
Off the beaten track in the north end, but a total hidden gem. Fantastic old school keeping it real Italian restaurant atmosphere inside. Friendly waiters. Tasty food, huge portions, and reasonable prices.
