The decor is charmingly old New England, the food is fresh, but the service coming from the kitchen was painfully slow (40 minutes for a grilled chicken salad for lunch when we were in a bit of a rush for a planned activity - I could have plucked the chicken myself in that time). The spa is exceptional with enormous bay windows looking out on beautiful views and lounge chairs to rest in before your treatment. Still the best CT destination Inn.

WOW One hell of Restaurant the Bibb Salad is great and the Crab Cake is outstanding but save room for the Black Angus Burger!!! 4 STARS....

cuisine now matches the high level of the inn and spa, always a pleasure to get away to Washington for innovative and fresh food
