Wonderful ambiance, delicious food but the service needs a little work. It wasn't terrible just a bit "off" - when I'm paying top dollar, I expect excellent service, not the old "who had the tuna sushi?" type of service from the waiter. The setting is perfect for a date or for girl's night out. The sashimi was among the best I've ever had and the kobe beef was perfection. Loved the green tea pastry for dessert as well.

  • The atmosphere is great, the scene is great, the food is GREAT.. This is probably the best destination sushi place downtown.. No wondering tourists looking through the glass, no little kids.. Just a great place for fine dining. Drinks are delicious too!

Megu is spectacular. Not for the feint of wallet - it is very expensive. Their sushi is wonderful, but this isn't just a sushi place. Their crispy shrimp is one of the great dishes in the city and their Kobe beef is prepared so many different ways it is hard to choose. The decor is lovely and tables are place far enough apart that you can enjoy and hear your company. A perfect place for special occasions.

  • Excellent ambiance, almost to the point where it can be a little overwhelming. It is a maze to find the main dining hall. The waiter was very attentive. The food was definitely not worth the the price it came along with. Dinner and one drink for 3 was somewhere around $300. The hype about Megu is all just a hype. Food needs to be up to par like the atmosphere.
