overpriced, the fondue I make at home is much better
Sure it's a chain restaurant, but it's one of the few that do fondue well. I've been going to Melting Pots for 20 years, starting with the original one in south Miami. Entrees run on the expensive side, but the meat is always good-quality. Salads are nothing exceptional. Can't get enough of the green goddess-stuffed mushroom caps in sesame batter! Go for cheese and chocolate fondues only if trying to keep expenses to a minimum.
Fon-Due, Dinner-Don't A total rip-off for dinner: you cook your own food and pay double to do it. It is too dim to see the food you are cooking and without a timer, you have no idea whether you are undercooking or overcooking your food. My suggestion: go for dessert. The fondues are fantastic and they are very generous with their quantity of desserts to dip into the fondue.
I love fondue, but this place is too gimmicky.
Not bad if you like communal food...
