It is a neighborhood kind of place with really good food and a friendly ambiance in the South End of Boston. Very handy to Calderwood Pavilion. It is very close to good parking and many other things that make it feel like a neighborhood place even if you don't live in the neighborhood.
Lovely location for Brunch and the eggs benedict are delightful. Service most pleasant and a nice eclectic clientele. A good alternative to some of the busier locations in the area, and a nice place to take visitors to the city.
Cozy, reliable. I used to think the risottos were a sure bet until the last time I went and lost my wager.
so the brick chicken is hands down, the best in the city i cannot tell you enough how important it is for you to get you stomach down there and fill it with all this good goodness. no joke. it's totally a $50 chicken dish that for some reason they sell for under $20. i don't understand it. i don't get it . personally i feel its a poor business decision, and i want to talk to the management. go!
Had to sit on a soda fountain stool for my mediocre dish. I realize why the prices are so fare.
