This is a wonderful new addition for Sea Cliff. Their chicken dish is really awesome!
We have visted twice and were pleased both times. Their patio is very pleasant. The food is an eclectic mix with enough variety to please most people. Their seafood dishes are well prepared and presented with a nice variety of accompanying items. The staff is friendly and accomodating. All in all, a very pleasant dining expeience
The 1st time we were unimpressed, the food was bland and pricey. The 2nd time, again, food was pricey and sub par, our bill was just under $100 for two entrees w/no sides, two beers and one sliver of pie for desert. To top it off, we presented a Restaurant.com certificate and were told that "the owner has the prerogative to decline the use of them on a Friday & Saturday". The only restriction on the coupon-order a min of $35. We will not be back.
Very disappointing! Rude owner. Food is pretty, but not plentiful. If you like paying high prices and getting little for it on your plate, then this is the place for you. Stay away from ridiculously priced "small" plates. Two bites and they're gone. And Long Island upscale places don't charge for soda refills. Don't have a complaint. You will only see the owner's back as he quickly exits and ignores you the rest of time you are there.
This place was okay, good food but ill have to try it again before i make up my mind!
