The setting is lovely and the service attentive. We enjoyed a really creative watermelon salad and scallion pancakes with duck. The lobster risotto lacked the creaminess that one expects and the lobster was a it over cooked.
Very bad experience at this restaurant, after seeing all of the review I would assume this place had a good decor and good food, but alas, I was wrong. Our server was some man, who came to the table twice and was in such a fluster that he couldn't remember a thing we told, him.. and the food is just meh.. I wouldn't was it your time, or money.
Mews reserves the upstairs tables with the nicest views of the water for the local gay community. Others can't reserve them, I tried. Which is offensive because that's discrimination, and this place is bank. However, the organic cucumber martini rocked my world. The food was overall very good. The beet and goat cheese app. was just ok, same with the fish tacos. Nothing special. My fish dinner however was amazingly fresh and well prepared
Great views of the harbor, comfortable old-school feeling dining room. The menu has a lot of traditional and non-traditional offerings. It's a p-town favorite that everyone has to try!
You can’t do better in P-Town than to sit at a table downstairs, looking out at the beach, and savoring the best food in town. They get the highest points for food, decor and service. Reservations are necessary, especially on weekends.
