  • Yikes! AWFUL. Served LUKEWARM water with dinner and COLD stale bread, with no butter offered. Very overpriced. Penne vodka and Penne Ariabatta were $24 each. NO SALADS OFFERED ON THE MENU. They plopped down mushy plain arrugula in front of us,with no comment, like they were feeding a dog. No mention of any salad choices or option of having the dressing on the side. Penne ariabatta was so SPICY IT WAS INEDIBLE!! (and I love pepperoni). BAD

    One of the best Italian's in Fairfield County, it's like going to your favorite uncle's for dinner. For wine enthusiasts ask about the reserve wine list.

  • Food & service are great. Lots of extras, such as free salad and prociutto. But beware the hard sell on the house wine. We fell for it twice (senior moments, I guess), and it is $90/ bottle. Shame on us for not asking; you get caught up in the homey atmosphere, and think it will be reasonably priced. Also, we got the sense they were trying to turn our table by bringing us a piece of cake (no choice) and didn't even offer coffee.
