While visiting Long Island my 12 relatives and I visited here for St. Patrick's Day. We were seated in a large second floor area with screaming children. We were told there would be Irish music and Irish dancing. The bagpipes visited once every 30 or so minutes, played two songs and left. An accordion player came up once. The dancers were children wearing black and orange. We waited 2 hours for our meals! Food was cold and mass produced.Terrible!
gave good review before but after valentines 2013.. my date and i--no more!!! food was awful..place empty compared to past years..loud obnoxious customer...s-l-o-w service and prices jacked up sky-high--again! waste of time, designer duds..gas..and money!! sorry but the service and food do not equal the over-the-top costs of eating here@!@ we will go elsewhere in the future..heard they have new manager and a new chef..not good!! bye-bye!!
Had read some pretty poor reviews of the Milleridge Inn as of late, but went there last night for a pre holiday dinner -- early though at 4 p.m. -- and everything was excellent. We were all (four of us) happy with our meals. The only complaint I had was with the popovers. They seemed undercooked inside.
Service was fine, restaurant decorated beautifully. Would go again in a heartbeat. A little pricey however, but it includes a lot.
We held a baby shower on 4/22 for 80 people. It started out well but half way through, things began to deteriorate. The head waiter began to loose his cool with the guests. It seemed as if the party was too big for him to handle, although he did have 3 waiters assisting. He was huffing and puffing, sweating profusely, snapping back at people, spilling water over the favors as he was replenishing water glasses and dropped a dessert onto a guest.
I can no longer agree with the "standby" for family celebrations. After 30 years of special occaisions & Christmas gatherings, I have just had the worst & most embarrassing luncheon ever. It was appaulingly bad, service, food, even the room, a horrible disappointment. It was a funeral lunch, final sendoff for Mom who loved this place. One server for 32 people, Bar service AWFUL, meals had to be sent back, & NO ONE supervising, a heartbreak.
