The beer list is the star. The food, although not fancy, is fine. Sometimes, you just want a good stew or piece of lamb. You'll get it here. Decor is classic Chicago. It couldn't be anywhere else. Service, however, is forgetable. They forget you.

Used to be a great spot to go after the ballet...or any time. Love the atmosphere and the servers and the concept. Old fashioned in every way. But, the food is just not what it was and the main problem is that the wines are so bad. They need to keep up with the wines like they do with the beers. Very disappointed of late. Really used to love to go late night.

They have a minimum charge of 7 dollars per person but if everyone orders beer that should do it. Not a great place, filled with older men getting drunk after work. Not in a good way.

Steaks, seafood--traditional fare, done well. Nothing exciting but the food is good.
