Weak quality sushi--very "robo-made" and tasteless overall. Stick with the sashimi, as the rice content of the sushi surpasses the size of the fish. The steak tartar & salmon tartar was good, but not for the price they charge, especially for the weekend. Avoid the ikura at any cost--bitter and clammy. I've had way better ikura (salmon roe) at hole-in-the-walls than this place.
Quality of sushi is definitely not of a decent Japanese restrnt. Salmon was still half frozen. Sushi have more rice than fish. Worst of all, I got there on a Fri nite at 8:55pm & wasn't told the kitchen closes at 9:30. I went over to get a dessert crepe, the woman said "closed". The ice cream machine was "out of order". The desert cakes & fruits were gone. Mgr didn't accept responsibility that we were not informed upon arrival of the 9:30 close
Eh. Place left me with a hole in my wallet and a queasy feeling in my stomach. I’d have to agree with http://www.thesushicritic.com/minado.html. Though I will say that I’ve you’re looking a buffet experience & not just sushi it’s not too bad. Others loved the Chinese food side, but the sushi wasn’t cutting it.
If you’re willing to make the trip for a buffet, check out http://www.thesushicritic.com & go to Jersey.
BEST BUFFET AROUND, IF A BIT PRICEY BEWARE THEY CHARGE KIDS BY HEIGHT. THAT 2 YEAR OLD MAY BE TOO TALL AND YOU'LL BE CHARGED. SAME FOR THE 5 YEAR OLD THAT'S 4 FT TALL
Wow! Best sushi buffet ever! Always different new selections to choose from. You can spend more money but you would never have better fresher sushi dinner than here. You can ask the sushi chef to make you special hand rolls and they do. It is not your average buffet. It's just a different dining experience!Worth the trip from anywhere!Sushi lovers go here!
