Sushi is really good and fresh, although portions seems little skimpy. I order to bento box was had alot flavor to it. Only knack was that the fish portions on the rolls seems little small. Really fresh though!!

Sushi was good, but the service was shoddy. Waited a long time to order. Decor looks as though it was chosen from a Japanese airport gift shop. Sushi was above formidable but not game changing.

The bento box was always a great price especially for the quality and quantity of food. The shrimp tempura is to die for! All the rolls and fish are always fresh and tasty. Although housing mostly standard rolls and not much variety on the specialty roll menu, they still prepare quality sushi. Two personal favorites are the volcano roll and dragon roll. This place is definitely worth giving a shot.

Can someone make the staff smile? This Japanese gem always delivers, yet I have noticed they have been skimping on the fish portions as of recent. Their roll menu is the best on Long Island, from the Manhattan to the Mimosa. Delactable in every word, Minami delivers the fish from the ocean right to your plate...why can't they offer coupons or more discounts to loyal patrons?

They kept telling us the AC was on while we were all sweating. I realized there was a language barrier so they didn't understand. They looked insulted when asked to change the way a dish was served, then they seemed interested, then they smiled. They kept removing plates before we were finished. Not sure if I'd go back in hte summer again. I hope the heat works...
