I have loved this place for years and now if it becomes trendy i willbe so pissed! I woudl love to bash it just to keep you away but I cant. Its great - not fantsic - but delivers exactly what you expect when you pass thrtough the door. Its old school. Its mine stay away.

Love this place, its like going back in time to a family favorite.
We ordered everything since we were dining with the owner of a favorite restaurant in Salt Lake City. Every bit was delicious!
Headed to New York in a couple of day and this will be our first stop.
The servers are very knowledgeably of the food and wines. I would definitely recommend Minetta Taavern to family and friends.

Was lucky to get reservation for an early supper on a Sunday. Very fun home feel. Nice attentive service. the burger spoken of highly was very good.

One of the heaviest meals I've ever eaten, for better or for worse. The bone marrow was absolutely stunning, but the New York strip steak underwhelmed, which was especially disappointing given that the steak's price... outstripped that of strip steaks at some of New York City's most venerable steakhouses. Ultimately, the excellent service will make it a very nice experience, but get ready to spend a few hours on the treadmill the next day.
