The sashimi at Mirai is a thing of beauty. Not to be missed - luscious toro generously sliced into delectable pieces. The swanky upstairs lounge is artfully lit to create a space where Chicago hipsters congregate while imbibing carefully crafted cocktails and indulging in unique, undeniably pristine sushi. Yummy!

Long time customer. and very disappointed. This place is living off its past reputation. Very expensive for prime cuts of fish. Proprietor seems to have a care free attitude about the quality of fish he's serving to discerning clients. Will not return.

Great sushi in a cool/trendy ambiance. A good date spot!

Best sushi in the city. Fresh and creative with the fish and the sauce. Tuna tuna salmon is a standout. Good microbeers. Steep prices even for sushi. Dont like the quiet, sterile, monotonous environment of the space. Go to sushi wabi on weekends because of this.

Great fresh fish for sushi. Only the best at Mirai. My favorite Japanese in Chicago.
