We have the chef prepare whatever he think we would enjoy. The food was excellent. Best wagu beef I ever had. Amazing tuna "sandwich". Also very good are salmon sashimi, soft cell crab and uni sushi. Not a single dish is below expectation.
Good reliable sushi in a spacious setting. The spare modern decor and widely spaced tables make for a nice ambience, which enlivens the fairly typical Japanese sushi-house menu. A good standby; we eat here more than anywhere else in hip-dining-central Ninth Square.
I recently had dinner here and as always the service was excellent. From the moment we walked in and confirmed our reservation, we were seated. The waiter was very attentive to our needs while at the same time gave us enough uninterrupted time for great conversation. Love the rock shrimp!
Very good sushi and interesting entrees. I really like the space and the cosmopolitan feel. I find myself returning often when in New Haven
