love the hummus. this was my first introduction to middle eastern food and still the one I judge everything else by.

I ate at this restaurant many times during my freshman year at college. So when a friend of mine came to visit we went for a late lunch/early dinner and had a server who was obvious new. We handed him the tip before we left. Although the service wasn't stellar it was obvious he was new so we tipped generously. The head server ran after us screaming bc she thought we didn't tip. Idiot!

For foodies on a budget, Mona's is the place to go. Near Tulane University, it is heavily populated by students and young couples looking to sample the delicious plates, soups, wraps and more. Wonderfully crispy falafel seasoned to perfection, lentil-soup to turn anyone vegetarian, cucumber and yogurt salad that goes with any dish. Added bonus: now Mona's has hookah!

Great Meditarrean food at very good prices. The hummus is very good as are the chicken dishes.
