Something of a Jackson Heights "grande dame", this circa-1975 Indian offers "humongous" portions of "exotic, eclectic" subcontinental fare – plus a few Chinese dishes – at "reasonable" rates, especially if you go for the "solid" lunch buffet; a few fear it has "lost its shine" of late, especially when it comes to the frills-free decor and service, but to devotees it's "still a favorite."
