Finally, a curry house on LI worth a second visit! The food was excellent and well spiced, and the service was friendly and accommodating. We were served by the owner who gave us excellent advice and made sure that we were happy with our meal.
For the spice fiend there's as much heat as you could want, but that shouldn't deter anyone else; dishes are prepared as hot or as mild as you like. The quality of the cooking will keep us coming back.

My favorite Chinese restaurant "Hunam" in Levittown closed years ago, I have been searching for Asian food with some spice and creativity. Last night I found it at" New Chilli & Curry". Like others noted, the line was out the door with their small& limited seating. Most were returning customers happy to wait. The menu is huge with over 100 different items mixing Indian, Tai and Chinese culinary cultures. Great Price! Tble of 3: $75. w/drinks.

Don't let the line at the door fool you. It moves quickly and best of all it's worth the wait! The atmosphere is nice, the service is warm and friendly and the food is superb.
If you like beer you must have the Indian beers, who new India had great beer?
