Best donuts in the city. I went here for brunch and didn't have to wait long to be seated. Great decor, service, and food. It is a little bit pricey, but worth it.
We waited 40 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. Not the end of the world, right? But during our wait time on the outdoor patio, where we were told we could wait, we were not given water (as promised by the host) or bread to soak up our hunger; we were not offered menus to order starters, and we were not updated at any time as we waited out there. It felt inhospitable, charmless, like being stuck in some restauranteur's money-maker.
I eat here regularly and it is always a culinary treat. I enjoyed trying locally-grown purslane last summer
Wonderful, fresh, inventive food, and attentive, friendly service. What's not to love? The outdoor patio is a delight.
Innovative food. Electric vibe. In location. Just wish it weren't so loud.
