I heard so much about this place. First time here, we had the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairings. The food was extraordinary and coupled with stellar service, dinner at No. 9 Park must be one of the most amazing dining experiences in Boston. Be sure to have the wine pairings, it just elevates the meal to a whole different level.
A busy cozy spot The bar at the front was very busy. A little to loud for my taste.Trendy foodie type place. Although very good I would only recommend it for a special occasion. The pasta with fresh truffle was delicious! Overall would go back but only if I'm willing to drop $200 for a dinner that was good but not that good.
More here: http://molltk3.blogspot.com/2013/01/boston-restaurants-n.html I started with the potato agnolotti with celeriac brown butter, chestnuts, and black trumpet mushrooms. This dish was my favorite of the evening. Little pierogi-like light pillows of delicious potato mixtures, I couldn't get enough!
We really enjoyed our dinner here. My regret is that we didn't have the tasting menu - next time for sure. Everything was very good, but the standout was the cheese trolley. We were taken through it by the assistant manager and that was a great show by itself - and the cheeses backed her up superbly. I would say this is a must for foodies in Boston
We had the chef's tasting menu - wonderful! The fois and lobster course might be the best single bite of food I've ever had!
