A little bit of Italian heaven with a neighborhood vibe--If you can get a table!
The chef's inventive take on classic dishes, yet with a seasonal update based on ingredients at their peak, makes Nonna a cut above other Italian restaurants.
Ingredients fresh but otherwise a very mediocre dining experience in a place that tries to appeal to a more upscale cleintele. Food and service is good but nothing all that noteworthy. A bit overpriced even if the portions were larger (they are small). Would not bring kids based on the service we saw provided to a seemingly nice Park Cities family seated next to us.
Good Italian convenient to Park Cities and Oak Lawn area.
Outstanding food! Changing menu reflects freshest ingredients and chef's imagination and talent. Big flavors rather than outsized portions make eating a pleasure - a matter of balance and this place has a mind that speaks to fine dining, not bulk for $$$. The pastas are delicate and the plates always play to flavor and refined palates. The acoustics aren't the best but when I come here it's to eat, at a very high level. I'm always surprised.
"Ft worth location, ok food, no wine list BYOB and interesting to watch the waitress finish off a bottle left by a customer...CASH only"
