My wife and I used to eat at The Nook 20+ years ago when we were first dating. Decided to re-visit recently. The room has not changed at all nor has the menue. The quality has suffered greatly. Coquilles St. Jaques was a soupy mess with barely any scallops. We came for the duck (on menue) which our waiter said had not been in the restaurant for over a year. Dissapointed by our veal and chicken entres. Cheap flatware bends easily. Amazing waiter!

The food is very good, eggplant aubergines are excellent. Parmesan crusted veal also great. Service was excellent. They now have price fix meals.

One of the places with the best food on the South Shore! They have the BEST FRENCH ONION SOUP!!! Soo good! Penne ala vodka also good! One my favorite places on Long Island, love the outside look of the place looks like a little lighthouse and the inside is very cozy with the friendliest waitor!!! Great service! Great food! Probably catches the eye but gets right on passed by many on sunrise highway, please stop at this place! They are awesome!!!
