Delicious, imaginative food with creative combinations of flavors; friendly, knowledgeable, attentive service. The spare decor looks good, but causes a loud room when busy. Pricey; most of the time, they have only a prix fixe (at $75) and a tasting menu ($125l). The exceptions are the early dinner menu ($45 prix fixe with very limited selections, before 6:30 pm) and Restaurant Week. At any time, it is amazingly delicious (save room for dessert!).
The restaurant is amazing. The tasting menu including the hamachi and foie gras appetizer with wine pairings are a must. The staff is impeccable and make you feel at home.
Loved the food...and the setting...the service though good was handled by a bunch of young servers..about as good as it gets on LI
The food, atmosphere and service are fantastic! If there were higher numbers, I would use them. Although, it is pricey, going during Restaurant Week is a real bargain. It is a restaurant for "special occasions".
Fabulous desserts. Great food. portions on the smallish side
Restaurant week special menu in November was particularly satisfying . No shortcut, no supplements on the menu as many other restaurant do to make up for promotional pricing
A real gem
