It was amazing. The steak was awesome, so were other dishes.
We had a lovely time at the Oak Room. The beet salad was innovative and the rib steak was generous, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection (med-rare, of course). Even the mash potatoes stood out above other preferred steakhouses. Be sure to leave room for the Boston Cream Pie!
A must for anyone at some point during a Boston visit, but it is very expensive and old fashioned, so be prepared for a step back in time. Cocktails are delicious but like everything else on the menu, they come at a price. Traditional menu- roast beef and steak. Gorgeous setting. Dress us up and take us out for some elegance....
stately awesome room, although better for a drink pre or post dinner.
If you want a steak that's falling off your plate, this is your place. Decor is odd, a curious mixture of ostentatious mixed with bistro.
