Joylicious! (I stole that from a Pop Tart commercial, but I really feel like it fits here better) Everything is amazing, but the thing that blows me away is that the vegetables in the egg rolls are still crunchy even after being deep fried. It is black magic I think, and I approve. Also, these people know what you're talking about when you say you want it really spicy and i'm so thankful.
How lucky I am to live close to this Thai gem. The authentically prepared dishes are aromatic and flavorful, and you can get brown rice, which is good for your nutritional conscience, not to mention your constitution. The Tod Mun (fish cakes) take me back to my visit to this food-centric country, as do all of the other dishes we've sampled. They don't alter dishes to suit the midwest palate!
Great local Thai restaurant with wonderful options. Consistently good and relatively inexpensive.
This is the first place that I had a meal upon moving to Chicago. After all of the Thai places where I have eaten this is still the best. People invite me out for Thai all the time and I refuse because none of them compare to Opart. My favorite meal is the Panang Curry. So delicious. I've already converted a few of my friends and am hoping to convert the rest in the new year.
Best Crab Rangoon. EVER! I used to live right around the corner from Opart and know how hard it is to resist that Thai food smell every day. So many things on the menu, there is something for everyone.
