I can't believe this place is not Zagat-rated!!! OMG, this place is already an "instant classic". On my list of places to go in Houston every time I am there. The Bacalhau ao BrĂ¡s is totally legit and identical to what you would get in Rio, where bacalhau (codfish) is as common a staple as black beans and rice. The owner of this place is Portuguese, I am told, and his wife is Indian. They also own Crown Vic's, another well-regarded place in town.
A hidden Jewel among the restauarant Giants in the area. Great tapas and a unique wine list with dozens of wines by the glass. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. Art work all over the place from local artists... Super Place!!
We went there because we had a gift certificate and were very surprised to find the food to be fabulous.
