This is about our 4th or 5th visit to O’Porto this year and it was great as usual!
What I cant understand is the place is always empty. The fish dishes are always the freshest you can smell the ocean and all the meals are unique and thoughtfully prepared.
The wine list is very affordable the waitresses as sweet as can be.
Lat night we went for restaurant week. I had Mariscada à Casa
Clams, Shrimp, Scallops, Mussels Sautéed
In a White Wine,
Delicious! No Salt monkey but well seasoned and tasty. Din is @good level for conversaton. Waiters have been attentive but not obsessive.
service has declined in 2010,totaly new staff might be reason, food is still good, but not as good as old casa.
New, slicker incarnation of the old Casa Lisboa, for years the best Portuguese restaurant in the area. O'Porto carries on the tradition, if not improving on it, in nicely designed quarters in a former warehouse. Prices are steeper than its predecessor, as if to pay for the rough edges that have been sanded away. But we liked the rough edges, including the more rustic food and reasonable prices.
Excellent Portuegese food served in a quiet setting...this, once a neighborhood restaurant, has refined its offerings to give the best of beef and seafood in Portuegese style.
