With reviews varying widely, I had to find out for myself. Best Chinese on LI - no. But, maybe the best Cantonese in Nassau. Best shrimp with lobster sauce I ever ate. Very good egg drop soup. Excellent chicken with mushrooms. Poor oily scallion cakes which I think is not a Cantonese dish. Service is good, but I don't think they would have served yesterday's scallion cakes to an asian person. Went twice, will go again.

The BEST Chinese restaurant on Long Island. You are transported to a wonderful dining experience from when You enter the restaurant. I suggest trying Everything that looks interesting to You on the menu... Leftovers were wonderful the next day :)

A Garden City staple - Peking duck is the best, house special dishes all merit trial orders and, if you know them, the Eric & Winnie show is entertaining!

These guys are still in business? Went straight downhill and when I found a piece of glass in the takeout, and all I got was an "I'm sorry", that was it. Go up the road to Jade King, that's the real deal. This is just beautiful decor in a basement setting, that's all. How the HELL did glass end up in a takeout dish?

If this is the best LI has to offer, I'll pass--there's too many choices to be treated so impersonal and cold and the food is inconsistent--sometimes good sometimes so loaded down with sauce it's a waste of money. I ate lunch at the Jolly Fisherman in Roslyn today and the wonderful red snapper was made even better by the positive, smiling and patient server.
