outstanding Japanese food - like I had in Japan
Absolutely the best sushi in Vegas. Forget Nobu (overpriced and pretentious). Engaging sushi chefs if you're at the bar, reasonable prices and great food. If you're at a table, the same holds true. But what is it with televisions in Vegas -- there's one in the sushi bar. If I wanted to watch TV, I'd get carry out and go home to eat.
@ the sushi bar, it's not what in the showcase, it's what's under the counter that waiting to please the critical customer... fresh specials waiting to please.
My favorite Sushi House for over 25 years.
We love the private curtained booths in this old school Japanese restaurant. There are hibachi tables in the next room, which look fun, too. But we love the privacy of the booths, sitting on cushions Japanese-style. The sushi is impossibly good for a land-locked place like Las Vegas. Great sake and service. This is a special occasion restaurant in strip mall in Vegas. You'll love it.
