Nice little place tucked away on Damen...have met the owner, very nice. Food always fresh...a go to 'hood venue!

Good place for a filling, indulgent breakfast or lunch...often a long wait. The pancakes with bacon bits are fluffy and strike the right sweet-savory balance. Omelets and chicken sandwiches are all good here. Many dishes have a Mexican influence - tasty salsas. Good coffee.

My husband and I used to go there once a week. The last 4-5 times we've been there, the food has been just okay..seemed premade and warmed. We've had the same waitress last few times and she's terrible. Forgot her name. But she is short, rude and doesn't understand what it's like when you have kids with you.
