We first visited Pacific's Edge 20 years ago and it has been one of our favorites. After a 2 year absence, we went back and were very disappointed. The view and atmosphere are still spectacular, but the food quality had really dropped and the service was brusque and erratic. There was not a single dish we ordered that evoked anything better than an "OK", the waiter was abrupt and less than helpful, and the prices were higher than ever.

Pacific's Edge reminds me a lot of Navio in Half Moon Bay with an even more superb view. You walk into a stunning walkway that opens up to an expansive dining room with sprawling 180 degree views of the ocean. It may be one of the most romantic restaurants I've been to. The food is very good and the wine list is amazing. The view is absolutely unparalleled and is worth the trip just for that.
