Chef Jeanine is a WONDER!!!!!! Anything from the best burger on LI to the most moist fish, pork, chicken....she amazes me EVERY time I go....and that's usually two or three times a month.
One of the best meals I've ever eaten. The service was phenomenal and the food was out of this world!! Decor, old fashioned? Give me a break! The decor was ground breaking and reinventing. The Chef really knows how to please her customers. The Maryland Lump crabmeat cakes were a great way to start the meal, followed by the Salmon Almond and Horseradish entree that was to die for. Sherry G wouldn't know good food if it hit her in the mouth.
My husband and I ate lunch here today and were very pleasantly surprised! My tilapia was truly the best fish dish I have ever eaten--very flavorful, the salad was delightful, and my husband really enjoyed his shell steak which came with a portobello mushroom.
The decor is a bit old-fashioned, but pleasant. Really delicious meal and we will definitely be back!
We hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner last week. We couldn't have been happier with the atmosphere, service, and food, which was amazing!!! Everyone is still talking about the sesame crusted basso filet. Jeannine came out and all my guests were impressed. It was a perfect start to the wedding weekend. Thank you for making a great memory for us. We certainly will be back. We have 3 more children to marry off!!
Great food at a decent price. The decor is a bit tired, but the quality of the food, makes up for it. Service was very good, and done with a smile. It is a warm, welcoming place to visit.
