Returned after a 2-3 year hiatus and was very pleasntly surprised after an ambivalent reaction my first time around. We went for pasta and had a plate of linguini with clam sauce which came with at least two dozen whole clams and a pappardelle with a short rib sauce that was outstanding. There was a good selection of salads. The service was very attentive without hovering. I would now call this a neighborhood gem.

Pappardella is a rip off.....Bought voucher from Living Social back in April'11 for a $98 Picnic Basket for two to enjoy in Central Park for just $38
There was no picnic basket or a blanket, just a plain white bag & plastic tablecover; large anti pasta platter & pasta salad were small; paninis had almost nothing in them; artisan Italian bread (website offers loaf of garlic bread) were only 3 small pieces of bread.
