Unfortunately, the Parish did not live up to my expectations. The service was lousy, the food, not tasty, the coffee, too strong, and the gratuity too high for such poor service and the food not good (at least to several in our party of 14). Who could mess up pancakes? Most of our food was left on the plate. The sauce on top of the trout overwhelmed the trout, thereby, taking away the taste of the trout. Go someplace else.
My husband always remembers Parish as the restaurant where he can get a proper Moscow Mule (in a copper cup), but the rest of the meal was pretty darn good, too. The flavors are both bright and well balanced, and the point of view of the chef is apparent but not overpowering. We have enjoyed dining there on several occasions, and will no doubt return.
So good but love the cafe
Food can be hit or miss. The wine list and tastings however succeed.
Beautiful building, dog friendly patio, awesome deli in the back. I think the food is a little on the heavy side, but their brunch beignets are very much worth the calories.
