"One of the few places left where you can actually get a sense of what authentic Little Italy was like", this still-family-owned bakery/sandwich shop has been known for its "outstanding" semolina since 1903; the "delizioso" heros – made with "rolls the size of your head" and piled with "traditional Italian cuts" – are for takeout only (no seating) and pack serious "value."
