Park 52 is a beautiful space with ambiance for days. However, the food is not done well. The food is average at best and considering the prices, way overpriced. It makes you feel as if you are paying for the beautiful decor instead of the food.

Not the best of Chicago, but certainly among the best in Hyde Park.

Disappointing. Should be good steak house, but isn't. Staff tries hard. Really poor wine list.

Yes, Hyde Park desperately needed a more upscale dining option. Is this it? Almost. The food is fine, the portions are enormous, the service is better than anywhere else in the neighborhood (but still abysmal by other standards). And yet, it's not quite good enough.
