this restaurant has had several re-incarnations. We went there last weekend and were very pleasantly surprised. The appetizers were freshly made and the taste exquisite: we had the Vietnamese spring rolls, and eggplant. The entrees were likewise very good, the clay pot catfish, duck breast, and crispy beef were excellent. Desert, consisting of flan and bread pudding was divine, would definitely make this a regular outing!
I had a wonderful dining experience at Pasteur. Our knowledgeable waiter made great suggestions, including a delicious specialty cocktail. Service was good and the decor is lovely. Treat yourself to great Vietnamese cuisine.
A bit disappointing considering the hype surrounding the re-opening; makes up for with the decor and service; more upscale Vietnamese than French Vietnamese, very good but not particularly memorable; great cocktails, tho
There are very few places where you can get the real flavors of Vietnamese food. This is one of them. Pasteur's kitchen turns out those great, savory dishes with unbeatable combinations of flavors. Save room for dessert. While it has been in this location a while, it has just re-opened and worth a special trip.
Dependable. Eating there since they were on Lawrence.
