Best Chinese (Southern) in Boston. Don't go here and ask for Northern Chinese dishes. Also, make sure you find out what's fresh. Their fish-head soup is fantastic, but make sure you get it on a night when they have fresh fish heads.
Guess I'm in the minority but I just didn't think much of this place. Service was ok. You do get a lot of food. A single service can feed at least 2. The Orange Flavored Crispy Chicken was almost flavorless. The pork and shrimp fried rice tasted only like oil. Sorry, won't be coming back to this one.
Excellent cantonese food. Clams in black bean sauce, braised duck and other seafood was reminiscent of the legendary Carl's Pagoda. I'm sure its where the chinese truck drivers eat.
Every time I visit Boston, I eat here. My friend and I ate like kings: two sauteed lobsters, jumbo shrimp dish, mix vegetable dish and fried rice. Everything was delicious. With tax and tip, walked out at $75. But, what we ate could easily have fed 3. We were hungry from a long day on the ocean. One of the best Chinese restaurants I have eaten.
Old-school Hong Kong cuisine, done well. Room is plain but mellow.
