Attractive, cozy surroundings with knowledgable servers and perfectly prepared seafood. I enjoyed it so much as a single diner that I came back later in the week with family. The appetizers are a healthy size. The veal ravioli was enough for a meal as was the grilled octopus. The branzino was so melt in your mouth buttery and my server suggested a perfect crisp white to accompany. This will be my go to Italian place in the city.
Elegantly Prepared seafood , fabulous fresh pasta, some of the best I've had. Compared favorably with my favorite NYC Italian Foodie Temples and similarly priced, expensive but really quite appropriately so And not outrageous By any means. The Decore is beautiful and understated. Intimate side rooms are really lovely and recommended. The service is really special- very gracious and personable. Do not miss! Best Italian meal I've had in 30 years Of visits to the Windy City.
Great food if you like eating in a box. We checked in (at 6pm in time) and had to wait while we were scrutinized. Were we not pretty enough? Apparently our table got moved to a back room that was very small. Excellent food /service though
A fabulous restaurant with superb food and excellent service. However, when ordering wine, the steward suggested a $175 bottle of Nero d'Avola. I said no and approved an $89 bottle. To be fair, the wine was excellent and we ordered a second bottle. When the bill came, we were charged $350 rather than $178. When I challenged the bill, the steward said I was mistaken. Baloney! I know what I ordered, but paid the bill and left disappointed.
Wonderful Italian food. The veal ravioli with pistachio sauce may be one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. First class service. Beautiful room and nice vibe. Dried meats that are served with the bread basket are outstanding.
