We can always rely on having the best cold antipasti and lobster ravioli at Pellicci's. During the Christmas holidays, we also love having their specials which include fried smelts and tripe stew. The owner and servers are friendly and helpful even when they are very busy. I recommend it to anyone who loves Italian food and a boisterous family-type atmosphere.

So disappointing ... we had to leave table to go to the bar to get drinks (barmaid not surprised, must happen all the time), the filet ala Antonio was rancid. We sent it back; no one came out to discuss. Our friends had to share one meal -- the baked chicken, what they're famous for! Very vinegary. Asked for sharper knives. Never came. The veal milano was thin and overcooked. Just horrible and you got the sense that no one was in charge.

your basic red-sauce Italian joint on Stamford's West side, been there forever and hopefully will continue forever, one can always use an "old reliable" restaurant to go back to.
