The pizza is amazing at the time you eat it but not very good leftover. I would say between the two brothers (Burt's Place and Pequod's), Burt wins out hands down. Sure the crust is nice a caramelized but Burt has the whole package with atmosphere and service along with killer pan pizza.
a tie (with lou malnati's) for best deep dish pizza in chicago. the crust is a caramelized crisp delight and ingredients fresh. be prepared to wait as pizzas are made fresh and take up to 35 minutes to serve. cozy and fun atmosphere at both the chicago and morton grove locations. service is always friendly and attentive.
This place is amazing!! The deep dish pizza is so unique, with a burnt cheese glaze on the edges. If you've only tried Uno's, Due's, and Malnatti's, this is a must! The prices are reasonable, servers are really good, the managers are wonderful-- you can't miss here!
The best pizza in Chicago...and that's saying something. Get the thick crust, although the thin ain't bad. They carmelize the crust, toast the pepperonis on top, and have a wonderful sauce. Would drive for 3 hours to get this pizza. The setting is fine enough, and you'll forget about the service once the pizza shows up. Trust me!
Best pizza in Chicago. The carmelized crust will change your life.
